On 23rd May 2023, CREA DC attended the field event named CAMPO DEMO CEREALS hosted by Rosti Paolo farmer in Merlino (Lodi) and organized by AGRICOLA 2000 S.c.p.A. a cooperative society operating in the agricultural sector.
The aim of the event was to bring the latest updates on crop protection, to show the different cereal varieties available on the market and learn about strategies and innovations for a more sustainable and friendly agriculture. Several seed and breeding companies and those involved in the crop protection attended the event.
In this context, CREA DC showed the preliminary results of the VCU trial carried out in InnoVar project in both seasons 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 concerning the additional measurement of vegetation indices like Green Greener Area (GGA) obtained through the elaboration of RGB images.
